The tuts, are not available the best there were once, but those I have backe up in cd as PNG huge files...is just a pain to upload, and also I have no server to upload, sorry.The one I have , dies in bandwith constantly.., sharemation.
So, u'll have to deal just with this :
Quake modeller, it can be useful, though I highly recommend to first do the anims, and forget bout uv mapping and do once animated the whole ub mapping texture thing in NST later on...

while older than 0.9x , it has some advantages over 0.9, as well as 0.9 has othe rover 0.8 : some ppl prefer 0.83, others 0.911b
Again, not of uv mapping/texturing. For uv and text , NST. And the texturing nst is just for a 3d quick mark up, the real texturing gotta be done in Adobe PS , PSP or gimp, once done the uvs, done a basic markup, exported the uv template.
Still, then, u'll need some tool for refreshing in the texture model as u paint and save in the 2d tool, for that is cool maybe NST, again. Othe rppl used other viewers for to check.

I just tried and made in 3dMAX with Unwrap UV modifier export to Milkshape and it works.

It will jump to a direct link to the old QTIP md2 plugin, which was freeware and not limited :)
I think it works PERFECT with max 5. You just read a bit the doc included and look at th ebuttons carefully :)
Is much easier than quake modeller or NST ;)
