Lightwave and directx prob

Hi all

Have been animating an IK chained character in Lightwave 6.5, thinking that I'd export to Directx at the end.

But on exporting to x, I find that movement is slightly 'off' from the Lightwave animation, so hands no longer correctly grip a gun etc..

Anyone got any tips?

You talking Positional or Rotational errors?

Are you using LWs Record Pivot Rotation at all?

Ok, I see what's happening - I'd set goal objects (pivots) for the feet and hands of my segmented figure and I'd set the feet/hands to match the rotation of the goal objects.

However the directx plugin wasn't converting that 'point to' rotation info. So now I'm keyframing feet and hand rotation data directly and I'm getting a 1-1 export.
