I get a virus warning from Avira with the

gile[s]-setup-1.36.exe

in the download.

TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen2

Could be a false positive.

I havn't run the file.

Hmm dunno. Avira used to be pretty good, but I myself am running Avast/Comodo and they didn't give an alert, but I haven't tried to install on this Win10 system so I wouldn't be able to tell. In the past I did have it installed on Win7 but don't remember which version(2 versions included in the archive I believe).

I ran it through https://www.virustotal.com and it came out negative for all except 2 virus checkers:

So bit hard to tell if it is infected or not. I indeed wouldn't recommend excuting the 1.36 but use the other version.

Rick Nasher(Posted 2016) [#7]
Hey, found some other versions on my old drive too with a beta 2.0 version and some other related stuff from the original site. I'll check and update the archive.

Rick Nasher(Posted 2016) [#8]
Ok now. These files came directly from Frecle's(Fred Borg?) site, but indeed the older 1.36 version gives the same viruschecker results on a dll, so even though it may be nothing I would still avoid it and use the latest also included 2.0 version that doesn't have that issue.

New download <here> I've called it 'The Frecle Collection' and included his tree[d] into the archive.

Someone has a tutorial Giles 2 is that its operation is very different from the first version.
